JOB OVERVIEW

With a rapidly growing presence in the market, we’re looking for a dynamic Wholesale Account Executive to help expand our reach, nurture key relationships, and drive sales growth.

As a Wholesale Account Executive, you’ll be at the forefront of our business, building strong relationships with key accounts, identifying new sales opportunities, and ensuring our products continue to thrive in the hospitality sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an exciting, innovative and collaborative environment, enjoys networking, and has a passion for the food and drinks industry.

We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit—confident in taking initiative, yet open to learning and guidance from more senior people in the team.

This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate expected to be in the office 3 times per week.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Secure new business opportunities across retail, hospitality, and wholesale sectors. The main focus of this role will be to identify opportunities with independent coffee shops and grow our direct partnerships.

Account Management

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring excellent service and long-term partnerships. Nurture, upsell and customer development.

Business Development

  • Research and prospect new clients, pitch our products, and negotiate contracts.

Product Knowledge

  • Become an expert on Blendsmiths, understanding the unique selling points of our products to effectively educate customers. If you already have barista skills it would be advantageous but if not, we would expect you to learn the Blendsmiths drinks craft.

Market Analysis

  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.

Sales Reporting

  • Track performance, analyse sales data, and provide insights to improve strategy.

Event Representation

  • Attend trade shows, tasting events, and industry gatherings to showcase our brand and network with key stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development Manager with any sales marketing collateral, completion of documentation required to onboard new business.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor sales campaigns and support any of the sales activity you conduct.

  • Working collaboratively with the design and marketing team to create impactful point of sale and sales material to perform your job as efficiently as possible.

Skills & Competencies:

· Whilst sector experience is desired, experience in a similar sales and account executive role is highly regarded.

· Knowledge of how to procure and close new business

· Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, we are a friendly and accommodating company, much of the sales work is focused on partnerships, great communication and patience.

· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

· Ability to travel as required.

· Proficiency in CRM systems, you will also be required to manage, update and report of your sales leads activity.

· Want to be part of a team and work collaboratively.

· Happy to get involved in other aspects of the business.

· Keen interest in Food & Drink.

· Excellent communication skills and an ability to form quick rapport that turn into strong, long-lasting relationships is essential.

· Proactive individual who doesn’t need someone over their shoulder telling them what to do. You need to think like an entrepreneur.

· Full UK driving licence.
