Embarking on a major rebrand during 2021/22 Mozzo Coffee is a fast growing purpose driven speciality coffee brand supplying businesses across the UK, USA and into Europe.

The Role -

As a Mozzo Brand Ambassador you will be the face, voice and substance behind the brand for many existing and future new Mozzo Serving Partner Venues.

A fully mobile role focused on managing and developing strong relationships with existing Mozzo Partners, while identifying and then opening new partnerships.

We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic, exceptional social skills, genuine passion for people, Speciality Coffee knowledge and skills *, natural interest in food & drink, a willingness to travel and a desire to be part of a team striving to build a purpose driven business that makes a positive impact everyday.

*You do not have to be a world champion Barista; however you will be running On-Site Training Sessions; performing Quality Audits; Calibrating Equipment during installs so a high standard of coffee skills, knowledge and confidence will be required (Mozzo can and will invest in the right candidate to help them develop these).

What you’ll be doing –

Learning & Development -

  • Supporting existing Mozzo Serving Partners Venues to serve good coffee and sell more coffee
  • On-Site Training (Barista; Latte Art & Cleaning & Calibration)
  • Quality Audits
  • Equipment Calibration
  • SOP & Menu Development; Product Advice; Sales Advice e.g. Pricing & Retail
  • Identifying needs and opportunities for customers to benefit from Roastery Training Days and/or visits from a Mozzo Trainer for Advanced Training Sessions

Account Management -

  • Recognising and reacting appropriately to opportunities and threats within live Mozzo Serving Partner venues
  • Ensuring the highest levels of customer retention and revenue growth within existing customer venues.
  • Building positive relationships with key decision makers within all Mozzo Serving Partner Venues.
  • Identifying, sharing and facilitating the opportunity to create brand and marketing opportunities within Mozzo Serving Partner venues that benefit both the customer and Mozzo businesses.
  • Working with the In House Mozzo Brand & Marketing team to make these opportunities a reality.
  • Keeping all customer information up to date and relevant within Mozzo documents and CRM systems; including tracking the movement of people around the industry.
  • Ensuring Mozzo is delivering exceptional service to all Partners.

Business Development -

  • Identifying new potential Mozzo Serving Partner Venues that fit with the brand
  • Initiating approaches to new potential Mozzo Serving Partner Venues
  • Performing Coffee Tastings and Presentation at new potential Mozzo Serving Partner Venues
  • Preparing New Partner Proposals Inc. Coffee Pricing and Machine Proposals for new potential Mozzo Serving Partner Venues
  • Negotiating and closing of new partnerships
  • Arranging, supporting and managing the set up and launch of new Mozzo Serving Partner Venues

Key requirements of the role –

  • A full/clean UK driving license
  • A valid Passport for International Travel
  • Ability to travel 100% of the role to include travel within the UK & Europe
  • 2 years Hospitality experience
  • 3 years of Speciality coffee experience & skills
  • Some sales experience ideal
  • Based (lives) within the areas of Reading, Berkshire & closely surrounding areas

Hours of Work –

Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 5:30 pm*; 1 lunch unpaid) *Does not include commuting time which will be required to take place outside of working hours (with exceptions when travelling for longer distances)

Holidays -

25 Days Per Annum + Public and Bank Holidays

Place of Work –

Field Based Role traveling within South West, Midlands, other parts of UK when required and occasionally into Europe (+ opportunities may arise to support Mozzo team as the brand grows into US market).

Probation Period –

3 months
